    Used this lantern on a Girl Scout trip. It was great. The battery was so peered the lantern the entire night as I had several first time campers. It has a great feature where you can set the light to low. Haven’t used the straw yet but was so happy to have the emergency accessories. The girls and I did a whole wilderness preparedness badge and kept referring back to the contents. I think I need another for just in case type emergencies!

    I purchased this as an easy grab and go kit in case of emergency. It is great! The lantern is bright, the solar panel works well, and there is room inside the water bottle for additional personal items (contacts, medication, etc.) I am thinking of purchasing one for each member of my family!

    For $20 this is a great piece of kit to have in your car. Barely takes up any space and if you end up in a pinch you’ve got a little bit of charge for your phone, a light to help change a tire, the ability to filter water from a lake/river/canal/puddle, plus some other extras that could come in handy. Also really nice that it’s self contained and easy to store. I plan to pick up a few more for my wife and kids’ cars, because better safe than sorry.

    Super light weight and durable for backpacking and provides a fantastic lantern style ambient light. Catches all the sun while I hike. I even used it during outdoor weekend projects to stay hydrated and keep my phone charged so I could listen to music with out draining my phone battery. It fits in the cup holder of my car and keeps me prepared wherever I go.

    I believed the reviews, and I’m glad I did! I have quite a bit of safety and emergency equipment–something I’ve been researching for a few years now–but I wanted something lightweight to carry on winter hikes or long summer paddles, you know, just in case. The bottle comes with a water filter straw, bandaids, whistle, etc. and I’ve been able to fit one of those mylar emergency blankets, a glow stick, and a phone charger in there as well. The light works great, and yesterday on an overcast late afternoon, fall in Michigan’s UP, I charged my Iphone from 20% to 65% in a little over an hour. It’s is handy (and lightweight) for hikes and I can clip it to my paddle board or kayak for a bit more peace of mind when out on the big lake. I’m back to buy another one for my husband.

    Works great! Haven’t used it as a water bottle yet, but use it as a lantern with a few items stored in the bottle. It has a USB port for hooking up a phone to charge. Works pretty slick. A request would be a warmer light color
